If you have a desire to learn the Jewish roots of your faith, and experience a Messianic Jewish worship service, then come and visit our Shabbat service on Saturdays at 10am. Rav Shaul (the apostle Paul) states in Ephesians 2:14-22, that Yeshua ..."In Himself might make the two into One New Man, thus establishing peace". Our desire at Church In The City/Beth Abraham, is to break down walls of hostility and misunderstanding between Jew and Gentile, and to proclaim the Good News that Yeshua is Messiah for both Jew and Gentile!
Every week, we read from the Torah, enjoy lively and spirit filled Messianic worship and dance, and hear from the Hebrew scriptures the message of the grace-filled life that only comes through Yeshua and the Cross. Come and experience what it must have been like in the Book of Acts, when Jews and Gentiles came together at the synagogue, broke bread together, and worshiped the One True God; The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, in a very Jewish way!
Our heart also is to educate the body of believers by imparting the rich heritage of our Jewish Roots in the feasts of The Lord, and the Covenants, and "connect the dots" of why it is on God's heart at this time to see the unity that Yeshua prayed for in John 17 be realized. After our services, we enjoy fellowship and "mishpocha" (family), as we enjoy Oneg (light lunch) together.
